A brief analysis of the current situation and development of ceramic substrates in the field of LED packaging
Ceramic substrate materials are widely used in power electronics, electronic packaging, hybrid microelectronics and multi-chip modules due to their excellent thermal conductivity and air tightness. This paper briefly introduces the current status and future development of LED packaging ceramic substrates
Characteristics, process parameters and performance comparison of vertical LEDs
The core part of Led is a wafer composed of p-type semiconductor and n-type semiconductor, and there is a transition layer between p-type semiconductor and n-type semiconductor, called p-n junction. When a forward voltage is applied across the pn junction, the holes in the p region are injected into the n region, and the electrons in the n region are injected into the p region. These injected electrons and holes recombine near the pn junction and convert the excess energy to light. It is released in the form of light-emitting diodes, so as to directly convert electrical energy into light energy. This kind of diode made by the principle of injection electroluminescence is called light-emitting diode, commonly known as LED.
Photometric LEDs - Colorimetric Characterization and Related Test Standards and Certifications
The color temperature classification of "Energy Star" follows the classification technology of the color temperature of fluorescent lamps, but changes the 6 color temperature grades that define the color temperature of fluorescent lamps: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K and 6500K. The location is at the equivalent of the MacAdam ellipse or beyond. Now it is stipulated that the four corners belong to the same color temperature level
U.S. Department of Energy Publishes Report on Color Retention of LED Products
The US Department of Energy (DOE) recently released a new report on the color retention of LED products for laboratory and field applications. In a statement, the U.S. Department of Energy explained that while much of the focus on LED lighting products has focused on lumen maintenance, color shift is the cause of early failure in some products, especially those for applications with high visual appearance requirements. The report notes that color casts can not only cause changes in the color of emitted light, it can also change the appearance and color of illuminated objects
Ten leading advantages of LED backlight technology
In terms of the cost of LED backlights and traditional CCFL backlights, LED backlight technology has become mainstream today, with many advantages such as no mercury, low energy consumption, good color, and long life, it has been recognized by consumers.
